Thanksgiving was very restful for the six of us. I'm not sure it was as much for Craig's parents who cooked and cared for us all weekend long, but as for me: I slept 33.5 hours over the course of three nights. Yep. I'm a human slug.
The girls were a tad disappointed to find out Craig has to go back to school tomorrow and *gasp* so do they. December always looks a little different for us in terms of educational intensity, though. I have a ton of sewing to do and we have various parties and rehearsals to attend. We will squeeze in some math and history, but it will look a bit different. We need to find some kind of peace in the midst of the goofiness.
Speaking of sewing, in case you can't tell what I'm still doing, here's another photo. I'm still liking the coordinated prints, but I'm also really really REALLY liking the ones that are made of just one fabric. And I had a few requests for "manly" tea wallets, so in comes the brown.
Other than that, just a normal week around here. Although I'm really in the mood for some turkey leftovers and we never have those since we don't host Thanksgiving. I may have to go get a turkey and cook it up this week just for the sake of some cold turkey sandwiches!
I'll see you again when I emerge from my piles of fabric and thread.

I'd love to share some leftover turkey with you! We have a bunch! :)

Ha! Megan, I had the same thought: "Why didn't I grab some turkey for the road when we left my sister-in-law's? Maybe I will have to make some turkey this week...."
Your tea wallets are cute! Hope you sell a bunch!

Don't drown! Death by cotton would be most unpleasant.
I hope the 2009 shop is a roaring success!
