Just in Time for Valentine's Day: Build-a-Bag

Kind of like "build-a-bear" only without the bear. Or the stuffing. Or the need to spend more on accessories than you did on the joking bear. Ahem.

I got so many cute Valentine's Day fabrics in the mail yesterday. I had to wait until tonight to make a couple of bags and I think they are just absolutely cute! I'm keeping a running list of bags already made and ready to go here right here. But if you'd like to choose your own adventure, keep reading below.

I'm planning to make a whole heaping helping of these Valentine's Day zippy bags! If you aren't so into the heart applique, I can still do an initial for you like I did on these. Just let me know.

Here's an inside shot:

Each bag measures 8" wide by 5" tall. They cost $13 each and that price includes shipping in the United States. There are a lot of options and you can "build your own bag" right here on my blog!

First, choose your outside fabric:

Swirl Prints

Love and Hearts

Flowers

Shapes

Next, choose the inside of your bag. It can be any one of the colors shown here either above or below.

I realize Pink 1 and Pink 2 are very close and you might not be able to see the difference in this photo. Pink 1 is more pinky pink and Pink 2 is a slightly darker pink.

Finally, choose any of the above as the appliqued heart or initial on the lower right corner of the bag. Or just say you don't want an applique. Easy peasey.

I'm finding the cutest bags are the ones in which the hearts match the lining fabrics.

Send me an email with your order info. Please put "Valentine's Day Zippy Bags" as your subject.

If you aren't comfortable matching up fabrics, just let me know you want to see some ready made options and I'll send a photo to you to choose from.
