A Pumpkin Prayer by Amy Parker is a sweet board book in the shape of a pumkin that teaches children to be grateful for God’s blessings.
Designed primarily for ages 1-5, this book is a great addition to your toddler library and (shhhh) your older kids just might get caught with it as well. *grin*
A Pumpkin Prayer is the first in a new Time to Pray series Tommy Nelson is doing. Check out the flipbook version of it here.
And here’s a quick plug for the beautiful illustrations by Kirsten Richards:

We like to go to the apple orchard in the fall.

Carving pumpkins!
We didn’t make it to the apple orchard this fall (I’m too pregnant!) but we love a good cup of hot chocolate and a hayride!
Our favorite fall tradition is going to pick out our pumpkins and pick apples at a farm nearby.
We have an orchard we love to go to every year.
Mom always used to read us “Squanto and the First Thanksgiving.” I like to do leaf rubbings with the kids.

We love fall and pumpkins!
When I ran a preschool I already had a favorite book about the leaves falling. The book would start out slow and then go faster and faster. Wish I could remember the name of it. Thank you

we love to collect leaves and make art projects / crafts with them.
I’ve had licorice ice cream on my to-do list all summer long but kept putting it off because it just doesn’t strike me as a very summery flavor. However, now its fall but even though the leaves have turned bright yellow its still hot and summery outside. The perfect time to test out some fall ice cream flavors.
we are all gearing up to create new cards to send to friends and family. If you are anything like me, I always try to “outdo!!??” myself each year and that in itself can be very stressful. So I have tried to use the “KISS” technique for these next ones.
