We were recently sent a full-year's worth of Creation Illustrated magazine to check out.
Look how lovely these magazines are. I was impressed the very second I pulled them out of the envelope. The day they arrived I actually grabbed the mail on my way to the van where all four of my girls were already buckled in, ready to go. I passed one issue out to each of them and they were engrossed for the entire car trip and beyond.
The content was just right for where my girls are at (8, 10, 11, and 13). All four of them enjoyed this magazine, but my 13yo in particular fell in love with it. She's a nature buff and ooohed and ahhhed over all of the beautiful photography and the accompanying stories.
And in addition to engaging content, they included opportunities for kids to get involved with a photography contest and a word search:
This is a beautiful resource and if your kids are anything like mine, a worthy investment at $19.95 for four issues. You can get a free issue sent to you as well!
The mission behind Creation Illustrated magazine is to "share the wonders of God's creation by revealing fresh insights of His infinite wisdome, gentle touch, undeniable justice, redeeming love, and flawless design, pure truth shall bring renewed peace. Each part of this publication is offered as a reprieve from the daily rigors of life so that all can look to the future with unbridled gratitude and hope."
My daughters loved this so much I am definitely placing this on my list of things to get for this upcoming school year. Well done, Creation Illustrated!
