If you’ve been around the homeschooling block for any time at all, you have more than likely heard of The Old Schoolhouse Magazine. Back in the day (ie: when I first started) this was a printed subscription-based publication. Now it’s a free online resources available for anyone. SchoolhouseTeachers.com is their newest project for homeschoolers. It’s an online hub of content that ranges in ages from kindergarten to high school. You can find resources on just about every subject you can think of, and they offer specialized extras including lapbooking, special needs, monthly reading lists and much more.

I could continue writing about what you can find there, but I’ll let this video do it for me. She says it much better than I could!

I could continue walking you through the website, but the fact is – there is so much over there, you really should just click over and check it out for yourself. While you are there, don’t forget to check out the free sample pages they have available for you to download on the spot.

Perhaps one of the best finds of the website (if I can even say that) is the school planner you can customize and download. Normally a $39 item, it’s included in your monthly subscription to SchoolhouseTeachers.com!

You will also have access to all the back issues of The Old Schoohouse Magazine, as well as a new e-book that will be offered every single month. All this and more for just $5.95/month. And, for the newbies among us, you can try it all out for just $1 for the first month. Not too shabby. If you remain a member for 12 months in a row, you will be given a $25 gift certificate to use in the Totally TOS section of the Old Schoolhouse online store. That’s a great deal!

Don’t just take my word for it, though. Go on over to SchoolhouseTeachers.com and browse around yourself. Check out the site tour here  and this list of frequently asked questions (along with their answers) here.

See what others had to say about both SchoolhouseTeachers.com.

Although we don’t homeschool, I love this website. There is lots of great information for those of us that just want to supplement traditional school with really cool educational projects. Thanks!
