Back-to-School Care Kit for Tweens/Teens with Neutrogena Facial Wipes

Yesterday was “Meet the Teacher” day at our blended model school. Even though my younger girls only attend two days/week and even though my husband is the Head of School and they’ve already met their teachers (and then some), they were excited to go. They’ve been excited all week for this Thursday – the only day this week they actually attend! Friday is a homeschool day and they are fine with that too – they are just ready to get this party started!

I got the idea yesterday to put together a little “Back to School” care kit for my girls. In addition to the books, the binders, the pencils, the white sneakers, the uniform pants, the… everything else, they also needed a little updating in the health-and-beauty area of their lives. This is where the Neutrogena Facial Wipes came into play.

While I was shopping for these (four to a pack at Sam’s = #HealthyValue for me!) I decided to get the girls some new shampoo, shaving cream (yes, some of them use that already), Altoid mints, and some new white socks (uniform requirement), in addition to several lunchbox items. Here’s a little peek into my cart from yesterday:

You can see my whole Tuesday right here in this Google + photo album. It was a busy day! And here’s the care kit I put together for all of my girls:

You can’t see them in this basket, but I also got some Band-Aids with Quiltvent Technology. A family of six can NEVER have too many Band-Aids on hand!

My 13-year-old already put the face wipes into action tonight!

With four to a box, we can keep one of these in each bathroom in our house (plus have an extra for my oldest to keep in her room).

I think NOW we’re ready for school to start tomorrow. Bring it!

You can find Neutrogena online at their website, on Twitter, and on Facebook!

They’re right at that age where it’s perfect to use such an easy portable cleansing tool. Such a sweet mama~!

Hi, I just found this blog from a google search for “blended model school Oklahoma.” Can you tell me the name of the school? Is it something other than Veritas Academy? Thanks.

Hi Miranda! Sounds like you figured it out already: http://www.veritasclassical.com – are you already familiar with Veritas? Not quite what you’re looking for? We’re 1/4 of the way into our second year with Veritas and it’s been a great fit for our family! Happy to answer any questions if you have any! You can email me at halfpinthouse at gmail.com.

Regardless, glad you stopped by here tonight!
