It’s the Real Thing

My parents are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary this year and in addition to that, my dad is retiring from his job of about as many years. To celebrate, my sister and I are having a party in Owasso, OK in May at their church. We’re doing it up in a Coke theme and are hoping to make it more unique than your average 40th wedding anniversary party.

I snapped some photos of some Coke bottles and sent them to Kristen of Winged Feet Design and here’s what she came up with for me. I tried to get the picture to upload here, but was having flickr trouble, so you’ll have to click the link to see the invitation. She changed all the pertinent details to use in her portfolio, but the design is the one she made for me. The picture in the middle is the one I, amateur photographer, still sporting a traditional point and shoot with film (remember what that is?) took myself by a tree outside my apartment door. Sure, a professional could have done better, but I was pleased with my result.

But more than that, I was very pleased with the invitation Kristen made for me. She did an excellent job and I highly recommend her for any of your invitation, announcement, personalized card needs. Be sure to check her out and tell her I sent you! 🙂
