December 26

Yes, yes, I realize the December Photo Project officially ended yesterday, but I think this is the first year I actually posted a photo for every day of the month. Now I can't seem to stop.

Craig surprised all of us tonight when he sold off a bunch of his old keyboard equipment and came home with the entire 56-volume collection of Nancy Drew books (under the red fabric above) and a Wii for the girls. He also souped up my iMac by hyper-caffeinating it with a gig of RAM and replaced the fm radio adapter for the van so we can listen to the iPods while we drive.

The girls and I then spent the rest of the evening dancing to Michael Jackson The Experience. I have a feeling tomorrow will be more of the same.

*sigh* This is my desk. And my computer desk has 345 email for me to continue digging through. I canned over 200 just today, not counting the new ones to arrive (and also can). I did do a ton of cleaning/sorting/organizing/purging today. It just didn't happen on my desk.

This is the desk of a school headmaster on the first day of Christmas break. It's covered in Christmas love from a bunch of families. He doesn't really care too much for the trappings of Christmas, but he appreciates the love very much. He also hates having his desk cluttered and today you could mistake it for mine. Ahem. But as it's the first day of Christmas break, he left it like this all day and doesn't care. He'll care tomorrow. I know it. But first I'll help him out by sorting through all the gifts those sweet families gave me. I mean him. *grin*

I was in charge of K9's class Christmas party today. I told the kids they could make their snowmen however they wanted to. This kid took that statement about as far as he could.
